For my first initial idea linking to Sagmeister, i wanted to take inspiration from some magazine covers he had designed, so for this i printed a photograph i had taken previously and etched holes through their face and body, and printed photos of snake skin to put in the empty spaces behind them. It's in this idea where i started to link more to my overall theme of inner monologue by incorporating a background into the cut outs of the girls to show an alteration between the way a person is presented as opposed to a person's inner turmoil. This was my favourite initial design i created because i found it presented perfectly as i imagined it. This links to the theme of incongruous through the contrast of it being simultaneously a person with a snake on the inside, which is mismatching and absurd.
