For this initial idea, I liked the way Mapes distorts his images and rearranges images back together, i took inspiration from this by cutting, rotating and resticking triangular pieces from an image i'd taken of my friend Callum at a party. This idea was successful because i found it links to the theme of incongruous through the means of parts of the photograph being out of place. I found this was quite unique and interesting to look at.
